One of our main goals is it to support research studies, to combine theory and praxis and to develop a basis for an academic dialogue not only within the respective study course, but also between science and the AI industry and AI investors.

In 2010, BAI has decided to support scientific papers in the field of Alternative Investments. The invitation to tender shall motivate junior researchers and scientists, to discuss alternative investment topics.

For this purpose the BAI is offering the Science Award next to Financial Rewards in the amount of 10.000 Euro per year in the following categories:

•    Bachelor thesis
•    Diploma thesis/ master thesis
•    Degree dissertation/ habilitation
•    Other scientific papers

These decorations offered by the BAI shall stand for excellent scientific works in the field of alternative investments.

The awarding of prizes will be decided by an independent jury, consisting of known experts from science and practice. 

Deadline for the Science Award 2013 is February 28, 2013.

Notice: The prices can only be offered to students, doctoral students, student researcher and post doctoral researchers from German Universities or German Research Institutions. In addition individuals or teams coming from the field of professional practice from Germany are entitled to participate.
