HAUCK AUFHÄUSER LAMPE can proudly look back on 226 years of tradition. The bank emerged from the merger of three long-established private banks: Georg Hauck & Sohn Bankiers in Frankfurt am Main, founded in 1796, Bankhaus Lampe, founded in Bielefeld in 1852, and Bankhaus H. Aufhäuser, on the market in Munich since 1870. The two houses Georg Hauck and Bankhaus H. Aufhäuser merged in 1998, Bankhaus Lampe joined in 2023. The private bank focuses on the four core business divisions Private and Corporate Banking, Asset Management, Investment Banking and Asset Servicing.

Kapital 1852 was founded as the key asset manager for illiquid assets of Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe Privatbank, which has been positioned in the German "Mittelstand" since 1796. Since its foundation in 2018, Kapital 1852 has successfully established on the market with approximately 530 mio. EUR of assets under management. Kapital 1852 combines tradition with current momentum, individuality, and at the same time with entrepreneurial thinking. The platform's scope of activities ranges across Venture Capital, Private Equity, Private Debt, Infrastructure to Real Estate. Accoringly, we offer a wide variety of access channels to alternative investments - from single funds, to funds of funds, and also managed account solutions.
