The following terms and conditions apply between the participants of the BAI InnovationsDay 2021 and the Bundesverband Alternative Investments e.V. (BAI) as organiser. Please read them carefully as they contain important information in connection with the InnovationsDay. By registering, you automatically agree to the terms and conditions. If you do not agree with the terms and conditions, we will not be able to accept your registration.
1. Participation Fee
The participation fee includes access to the virtual platform talque and the virtual attendance at the InnovationsDay.
You will receive a confirmation and an invoice after receipt of your registration. BAI e.V. as organiser reserves the right to reject registrations. The participation fee is due 10 days after receipt of the invoice, without deduction. Please note participant name and invoice number on your payment receipt. Participation can only be granted if your payment is received by the BAI on time. If you transfer the invoice amount later than five bank working days before the event date, please send a copy of the payment voucher to firstname.lastname@example.org in the morning of the BAI InnovationsDay.
If you are unable to attend the event, a substitute participant can be provided at any time. Please inform us of the name as soon as possible. The ticket is not divisible. For cancellations received by 23 September 2021, we will charge a processing fee of 50 euros. Cancellation must be made in writing (letter, fax or e-mail). The basis for the calculation of a cancellation is the date of receipt of notification by the organiser. In the case of cancellations received by the BAI after this date, the full invoice amount shall remain with the organiser without deduction. In the event of cancellation by the organiser, the fee paid will be refunded in full; further claims are excluded.
3. Changes to the Conference Programme
The organiser reserves the right to make changes to the programme in terms of content, time and location for good cause. We accept no liability for printing errors. The place of performance for all claims is the organiser's registered office (Bonn).
4 Use of the Virtual Event Platform
4.1 You are responsible for the technical equipment necessary to use the event website and the conference platform.
4.2 We do not guarantee that the event platform will function continuously, securely or without errors or interruptions, and we accept no liability for temporary non-availability. We do not warrant that the event platform and/or any content on it (including, without limitation, any content available for download) is free from viruses, Trojan horses and/or other code that has contaminating or destructive properties.
4.3 You must not in any way attempt to interfere with the proper functionality of the event platform.
4.4 You agree to accept any terms and conditions and privacy policies of the websites on which the event is hosted.

4.5 We do not endorse or accept any responsibility for the content or use of any goods or services identified or described on the event platform and we will not be liable for any loss or damage caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any content, goods or services available on or through the event platform or any website or other resource linked therein.
4.6 We will provide you with login details for the Event. These must be treated as confidential and may not be disclosed or sold to any third party without our consent. These are personal login details. You hereby agree not to allow any third party access to your login details and remain liable for the actions of anyone using your login details.
4.7 Any postings, messages or other materials, information or data you provide or upload to the event platform shall be deemed to be non-confidential and your own responsibility. You must not knowingly submit or upload any data that contains viruses, Trojan horses or other code with contaminating or destructive properties. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to edit or remove any postings to message boards on the event platform and to delete, block or filter any material using electronic methods, but we are under no obligation to do so.
4.8 You may not post defamatory postings, illegal postings or postings that infringe the intellectual property rights of others. The BAI is not responsible for monitoring or complying with applicable laws.
4.9 When using the chat functions or even the video functions, please also ensure that you express yourself only in such a way that an accidental posting cannot cause any damage to you or your company. Furthermore, please check in advance whether there are objects in your video image that should not be seen or are subject to privacy. If necessary, you can use soft focus or backgrounds here. For individual communication between participants, you may of course always use other means of communication that are more privacy-friendly than those offered on the event platform.
5. Consequences in the Event of Non-Compliance
The BAI may (at its sole discretion) refuse entry to or exclude/block from the event any person who fails to comply with these terms and conditions or who, in the opinion of the BAI, poses a safety risk. You agree to comply with the reasonable instructions of the BAI or the event platform operator during the event.
6. Consent to Official Photographs and Recordings
Please note that photographs and/or video recordings will be made during the event/lectures and will also be used for publication after the conference on the internet and in print media.
Unauthorised photography and/or recording/transmission of audio or visual material, data or information during the conference (including taking screenshots) is expressly prohibited (see also § 201 StGB).
7. Data Protection Policy
7.1 If you wish to participate in BAI InnovationsDay, we will collect, process and use the following data:
Mandatory data: Title, first name, last name, position/department, company, street, house number, postcode, city, telephone number, e-mail address. Your data will be collected, processed and used by the BAI for the purpose of processing your registration and will also be forwarded in this context to third parties who have been commissioned to carry out the event and who are obliged to comply with the GDPR, in particular the technical and organisational measures pursuant to Art. 32 GDPR.
After the event, the contact details of the participants with whom the virtual exhibition stand staff have chatted or arranged appointments will be automatically sent to the relevant contact person of the exhibitor. The contact data is the data independently stored on the individual talque profile.
7.2 Connecting participants with each other and making new contacts is an important part of BAI InnovationsDay. For this purpose, a list with the participant's first and last name and company will be sent to the sponsors in the run-up to the conference. No other contact details will be published in the list of participants. Using this list, representatives of the sponsors can research suitable contacts and contact them outside the talque platform before the conference, provided they themselves have the further contact details.
7.3 By registering for BAI InnovationsDay 2021, participants are given the opportunity to contact other participants. Registered participants of BAI InnovationsDay 2021 who are logged in to Talque can send contact and appointment requests to other participants. These can be confirmed or rejected. Furthermore, all participants receive an overview of all persons present and can thus establish contacts with other participants as well as sponsors with a similar interests.
We hereby also refer to the general terms and conditions and data protection regulations of talque, as well as its cooperation partner slido (see point 4.4).
7.4. Cou will receive a lunch voucher from TakewayPay/Lieferando. For this purpose, we place your name and email address with takeawayPay. After the event, this data will be deleted again by us. We hereby also refer to the terms and conditions of takeawaypay.
7.5 You hereby agree that your personal registration data (surname, first name, company) will be published online on the talque conference platform and in the list of participants. You may voluntarily enter further details on the platform, which will then also be published. You can revoke this consent at any time.
