Bundesverband Alternative Investments e.V. (BAI)

At the annual general meeting on 29 October 2020, which took place in autumn and virtually due to Corona this year, the board of directors and management reported on important impulses of BAI's association work, including in the areas of law, alternative markets, and public relations. The successful lobby work is reflected by a steady growth in the number of members - in the past year alone, 25 new member companies joined BAI, bringing the total number of members to 233.

At the general meeting, chairman Achim Pütz, Partner at Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH, was confirmed in office. The five board members Rolf Dreiseidler, Managing Partner at Polaris Investment Advisory AG, Matthias Erb, Partner at StepStone Global, Andreas Kalusche, CEO of Prime Capital AG, Bastian Schmedding, Managing Director at Intermediate Capital Group GmbH (ICG) and Prof. Dr. Rolf Tilmes, Academic Director at the EBS Executive School, were also reappointed.

Britta Bene, partner at Indigo Headhunters, was newly elected to the board.

Achim Pütz commented as follows: "I am pleased that the members of BAI have once again expressed their confidence in the Managing Board. This is an important signal for the continued positive development of the association, especially in view of the difficult general conditions in the current year and of the near future".
