Everside serves as a dedicated access vehicle to the U.S. lower middle market through its own Small Business Investment Company (SBIC) funds as well as a network of experienced SBIC partners. By leveraging these SBICs, Everside benefits from the U.S. Small Business Administration’s government-backed leverage. The firm invests as an anchor limited partner (LP) in SBIC funds (primaries), actively purchases LP stakes in SBIC funds on the secondary market (secondaries), and makes direct investments into privately held small businesses alongside its SBIC partners (directs). The integration of these three investment verticals enables Everside to execute on what we believe to be a unique and differentiated strategy, focused on partnering with lower middle market credit fund managers to generate long-term value and diversified exposure.
