Zur Erzielung absoluter Erträge in jedem Marktumfeld nutzen Hedgefonds-Manager Leverage und Short Positionen. Letztlich kann man sagen, dass Hedgefonds in traditionelle Assetklassen (wie Aktien und Anleihen) investieren, sie bedienen sich jedoch alternativer Strategien.
