Become a BAI member!

The BAI, as a lobby group of the alternative investment industry, has been working for improved legal and regulatory framework conditions for product and service providers as well as for institutional investors since 1997. With a variety of events, BAI offers a suitable platform for the exchange of information between investors, service providers and product suppliers.

Membership of the BAI offers you the following advantages, among others:

Information

  • Briefings on important circulars from the Bundesbank, BaFin, BMF, ESMA, EIOPA, etc.
  • Opportunity to participate in the specialised committees on fund and market regulation, investor supervision and investment tax law as well as other working groups and projects to promote and establish the alternative investments industry in Germany
  • Access to the BAI member portal with presentation slides, briefings, studies, statements, submissions and other interesting publications and information

Networking

  • various networking opportunities within the alternative investments industry, such as BAI Insights, BAI Symposia, BAI workshops on regulatory topics and CAIA/BAI Educational Events
  • Up to two free tickets for members (one ticket per person per day) for the annual BAI Alternative Investor Conference (AIC) and, in some cases, a greatly reduced participation fee for external organisers
  • Publication opportunities in the BAI newsletter, e.g. placement of a specialised article and logo marketing

Discounts

  • Listing of member companies on the BAI homepage with contact information and a link to the member's homepage as well as the opportunity to present themselves with a company profile and logo
  • Discounts on the EBS/BAI compact study programmes ‘Infrastructure’, ‘Liquid Alternatives’, ‘Private Equity’ and ‘Commodities’
  • 10 % discount on the registration fees for the CAIA exams

The annual membership fee is currently EUR 4.500. Memberships authorised during the year are charged pro rata.
