Stefan Schütte, Versorgungsanstalt des Bundes und der Länder (VBL)
Since October 2021 Stefan Schütte has been Head of Fixed Income & Private Debt at Versorgungsanstalt des Bundes und der Laender (VBL), Germany‘s largest pension fund for the public sector. Prior to joining VBL, he worked for R+V Insurance Group, one of the leading life insurers in Germany. At R+V Mr. Schuette focused on ramping up the group’s Alternative Debt Investments. Further career stations comprise Erste Abwicklungsanstalt (EAA, windown agency of former WestLB, 2012-2018) where held the position of a Team Head in Credit Risk Management, HSBC Germany (2008-2012) and West LB Mellon Asset Management (2004-2008). Mr. Schuette started his career in Deutsche Bank’s Credit Risk Management department in 1997.
