Max Fieguth, IFM Investors

Max Fieguth is an Executive Director for IFM Investors and board member of Manchester Airports Group. He is responsible for developing and executing IFM’s asset management strategy and leads a team of asset management specialists implementing value creation opportunities across our portfolio and supporting the execution of infrastructure transactions.


Since joining in 2016, Max has worked extensively with a number of IFM portfolio companies across multiple sectors and countries, including the German fibre JV GlasfaserPlus, the UK transportation companies MAG (Airports) and M6toll (Roads), the Spanish water concessions company Aqualia and the UK broadcasting company Arqiva. Further, he was involved in the acquisitions of the port Baltic Hub in Poland, the Spanish utility Naturgy and Sydney Airport in Australia.


Before joining IFM, Max was at McKinsey & Company, specialising in operational improvement and capex projects and worked on UK railway projects with Bechtel. He holds a MEng in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London and MBA from INSEAD, and is a member of the IMechE as well as a Sainsbury Management Fellow.
