Dr Alex Murray, UBS Asset Management
Dr. Alex Murray is Director of Infrastructure Research & Strategy at UBS Asset Management, where he leads sector and thematic research on infrastructure investments within Unified Global Alternatives. Focusing on long-term market trends and key return drivers, he supports the development of innovative investment strategies across the global infrastructure sector.
Prior to joining UBS Asset Management in 2025, Alex led institutional research on real assets at Preqin, now part of BlackRock. Previously, he worked at the UK Infrastructure and Projects Authority and conducted research and taught at University College London (UCL), where he also earned his PhD in infrastructure investment. He began his career in Corporate Finance at KPMG in London.
