Sebastian J. Schweier, Versicherungskammer Tecta Invest
Sebastian J. Schweier is an experienced expert in the field of infrastructure investment with extensive knowledge of equity and debt capital management. Over the past ten years, he has played a key role in establishing and developing the investment division of the Versicherungskammer Group. In recognition of his achievements, he was awarded the ‘Forty under Forty’ Award by the Bundes Institutioneller Investoren (bii) in 2022. Mr Schweier is currently Head of Infrastructure Investments and is responsible for the Group’s investment portfolio. He also holds various positions on investment committees, advisory boards and executive boards.
After completing his alternative service in 2011, he began studying business administration at Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences and Nuremberg University of Applied Sciences, graduating in 2017 with a Master’s degree with distinction. Between 2018 and 2022, he undertook postgraduate studies at the German Association for Financial Analysis and Asset Management in Frankfurt, earning the titles of Certified Credit Analyst (CCrA), Certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA) and Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA).
Furthermore, Sebastian Schweier is actively involved in socio-political issues. He is a member of the German Association for Financial Analysis and Asset Management (DVFA) and of Initiative Deutsche Infrastruktur e.V., through which he champions the further development of the infrastructure and product landscape in Germany.
