Edgar Walk, Metzler
Edgar Walk, CESGA, has been with Metzler since 2000. As Chief Economist in the Asset Management division, he is responsible for economic forecasts. Due to his close cooperation with portfolio management, his focus is increasingly on capital market issues in addition to economic analysis. Before joining Metzler, Mr Walk studied economics in Tübingen, specialising in regional studies of East Asia and Japan. To further his studies, he spent a semester abroad at Doshisha University in Kyoto, Japan. He then completed a postgraduate course in Advanced Studies in International Economic Policy Research at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy.
