Following the success of previous editions, the BAI will once again host a full-day Sustainable Finance & ESG Workshop on Wednesday, 2 December 2026, at the Audimax of Frankfurt School Forum in Frankfurt am Main.
The workshop will focus on current regulatory developments surrounding SFDR 2.0, the EU Taxonomy, CSRD/ESRS and the Omnibus initiatives, as well as their implications for investors, asset managers and ESG reporting. Topics will include the shift from a disclosure-based to a category-based system, emerging opportunities for impact investing and the growing importance of resilience in the current geopolitical environment.
In addition, the programme will explore the role of impact investing in illiquid asset classes and private markets – particularly infrastructure, private equity, private debt and real estate – highlighting practical use cases and business opportunities.
Alongside regulatory perspectives, representatives from supervisory authorities, institutional investors and other market participants will share their insights. Case studies, best practices, industry standards and ESG solutions will round off the programme, making the workshop a true “class reunion” for practitioners and investors alike.
The event is aimed at professionals interested in sustainability topics from the BAI member community, the asset management industry, service providers and institutional investors.
