
Roland Hantke, UBS Asset Management
Roland Hantke is heading the Multi-Managers Infrastructure team of Real Estate & Private Markets (REPM) within UBS Asset Management.
The role includes investment selection and portfolio management of several diversified international infrastructure mandates as well as UBS’ Infrastructure Fund-of-Funds. Roland is a voting member of the Multi-Managers Infrastructure and Private Equity Investment Committees.
Roland joined the then Swiss Bank Corporation in 1989 where he completed a two-year trainee program. Following his university studies, Roland re-joined the bank in 1996 as a portfolio manager for Global Balanced Institutional Mandates. Subsequently, he transferred to New York working as an analyst on Mergers & Acquisitions and corporate finance transactions in different industry groups, with a special focus on Real Estate. He took on his current position in 2003.
Following his MBA studies, Roland worked as an associate in the Investment Banking Department of Goldman Sachs, focusing on advisory and valuation assignments in the financial and automotive sectors.
He also spent some time with an international real estate services firm, working as a property consultant on property valuation and portfolio advisory assignments.
