Hannes Tausend is Head of ESG at KGAL, Germany’s leading independent investment and asset manager with strong expertise in renewable energies. He leads a team of six ESG specialists responsible for shaping KGAL’s ESG strategy and ensuring its implementation in compliance with regulatory requirements while generating measurable value for the funds.
Before joining KGAL in April 2025, Hannes spent over seven years at KPMG, supporting private equity clients in the development and implementation of sustainable strategies and performance programs, bringing extensive consulting experience and market knowledge to his current role.
