State of the market – Where does infrastructure stand and what does the future hold?
Dr. Christian Fingerle, Senior Managing Director, Stepstone
Diversified infrastructure investments: Opportunities for private customers
- Infrastructure is omnipresent - from toll roads, tunnels and railways to data centres. But here too, investments should generally be diversified. A broadly diversified portfolio - regardless of size - can take advantage of more opportunities and better withstand risks.
- Private customers are well advised to invest broadly and to ensure that the provider has the relevant expertise and experience in the respective area. We at Allianz manage around 50 billion euros in this area. Nevertheless, investors should be aware of the characteristics, such as the long investment horizon, and risks associated with investing in private markets.
- We at AllianzGI rely on the ELTIF & explain our investment approach during the presentation/panel.
