HAUCK AUFHÄUSER LAMPE can look back on a 226-year tradition. The bank emerged from the merger of three long-established private banks: Georg Hauck & Sohn Bankiers in Frankfurt am Main, founded in 1796, Bankhaus Lampe, founded in Bielefeld in 1852, and Bankhaus H. Aufhäuser, on the market in Munich since 1870. The two houses Georg Hauck and Bankhaus H. Aufhäuser merged in 1998, Bankhaus Lampe joined in 2021.
The private bank focuses on the four core business areas of private and corporate banking, asset management, investment banking and asset servicing. In the asset servicing business segment, the bank offers all services related to the administration of investment products for independent asset managers, financial service providers, institutional investors, asset managers and capital management companies with a focus on Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria and Ireland. It has around 360 employees in the Financial Assets, Digital Assets and Real Assets divisions.
In the latter area, HAUCK AUFHÄUSER LAMPE offers custodian services for all open and closed real asset fund structures and securitisations according to German and Lux. law. In addition, HAL as Lux. central administrator provides initiators and investors with all services for the administration of alternative investment funds and securitisations. HAL also offers the AIFM function in Luxembourg and Ireland.
