Manuel Köppel is Managing Director of BF.capital, an institutional investment manager for real estate debt. BF.capital invests in debt capital for value-creating real estate situations as part of debt funds and individual mandates. The company consistently focuses on sustainability aspects and prefers to finance "Manage-to-ESG" investment cases in its new business.

Manuel Köppel is also CFO of BF.direkt AG, which offers comprehensive commercial real estate financing services via various other subsidiaries in addition to BF.capital.

Before joining the BF Group, he worked as a management consultant and for many years in the Group Strategy department of LBBW Landesbank Baden-Württemberg, where he was involved in a wide range of projects relating to institutional asset management.

Manuel Köppel began his career in corporate finance at LBBW Landesbank Baden-Württemberg after graduating with a degree in business administration from the Cooperative State University in Karlsruhe.
