Bas Kragten is head of private ABS, fund finance and infrastructure at Aegon Asset Management. He joined the firm in 2023 from a.s.r. verzekeringen where he was head of structured investments. Prior to that, he worked at ACTIAM for more than 10 years, the majority of which as co-head of fixed income/ head of private markets. Prior still, he was head of asset backed securities at ING Investment Management and held various positions in structured finance / alternative fixed income portfolio management at NIBC, ABP and Rabobank. Bas has been in the industry since 1995 and holds a master’s degree in Monetary Economics & Finance from Tilburg University.
