Dr. Clifford Tjiok is Chief Commercial Officer and Management Board Member of LOANCOS Group, the largest residential mortgage credit platform in Germany with EUR 4 bn. assets, covering Sales, Strategy and Financing. LOANCOS has restructured Commercial Real Estate Debt of ca. EUR 10 bn. Over the last 29 years, he held various Senior Business and Risk functions, most recently as Chief Credit Officer at Talanx Asset Management, overseeing the build-up of EUR 1 bn in direct infrastructure investments, including teams and processes, and chairing the Transaction Committee. Previously, he was a Managing Director at EquityGate Advisors (now Capitalmind) in Wiesbaden looking after Equity Capital Solutions for Bank‘s restructuring cases. Before that, he was with Landesbank Hessen-Thueringen (Helaba) in Frankfurt since 2001, initially as Director and Head of Corporate Finance Syndications, arranging and syndicating Big Ticket structured and corporate financings, and member of the divisional Credit Committee, before heading Credit Risk Steering & Group Capital Allocation and then assuming responsibility for Loan Markets (Corporate & Real Estate) within Risk Management, and involvement with restructuring cases, also as creditors commitee member. 

Prior to that, he was with Citibank in London as Risk Manager for Global Custody and Securities Services/ Global Transaction Services, and also had various regional responsibilities in Europe, joining from Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt and London with responsibilities as IT Project Manager for Group Treasury/ Asset Liability Management and subsequently as Credit Risk Officer and Project Manager for Global Settlement and Clearing Risk. Before that, he worked as Consultant and Trainer in the IBM-related industry.

Dr. Clifford Tjiok also serves on the Executive Committee of BKS, the German Federal Association for Loan acquisition & Servicing.
